2004: Counter Measures Opens in Parksville, BC

In 2003, Vince Cenerini and his family moved to Parksville from the mainland to enjoy a more relaxed way of life. Having worked in the countertop industry since 1991 as the production manager for a large mainland countertop shop, Vince soon saw a need in the Oceanside community for a quality countertop provider. He decided to start up a business and supply Vancouver Island with Solid Surface (Corian by Dupont) countertops. Counter Measures opened its doors in May 2004,

2005: Counter Measures Becomes Silestone Certified

In 2005, Vince saw a growing trend towards beautiful and durable Quartz surfaces. He completed training to be certified to sell and install Silestone , the world industry leader in Quartz countertops.

Today: Counter Measures Expands

Today, Counter Measures has moved to a bigger facility and provides several different quality Quartz and Solid Surface products for kitchen, bath and commercial surfaces.  Counter Measures now services the entire Island, including: Victoria, Duncan, Ladysmith, Nanaimo, Parksville, Qualicum Beach, Port Alberni, Comox, Courtenay, Campbell River, Port McNeil, Telegraph Cove, Tofino, Ucluelet, Powell River and the surrounding Islands.

As well as installing countertops in some of the most luxurious homes on Vancouver Island, we have also worked with various commercial customers including: Starbucks, BC Ferries, Princess Cruise Lines, McDonalds, Dairy Queen, London Drugs, Nanaimo Regional Hospital and BC Lotto.  All Counter Measure's Quartz and Corian countertops are backed by a full manufacturer's warranty and installed by a certified fabricator / installer.
